Kerry Lynn Parsons (Arts Education Manager)
Kerry Lynn Parsons is a dramatist, poet, and multi-talented Peterborough drama and elementary school teacher who has written all of Heritage Pavilion Stage's study guides. Eminently qualified, she holds two degrees, a B.A. and a B.Ed., and is also a Reading Specialist. She has conducted drama workshops across the province for students and educators. Her plays have been produced in Peterborough and Toronto. She is the winner of the Elementary Teachers' Federation 2003-04 Writer's Award.
Phil Oakley (Artistic Director)
Mr. Oakley has vast theatrical and educational experience. His professional career includes working with Heritage Pavilion Stage plus other local companies such as 4th Line Theatre, New Stages Peterborough, Arbor Theatre, and Mysterious Entity Theatre. He has also worked for many out of town professional theatre companies such as Ground Zero Productions, Young People’s Theatre and Blackwell Theatre Productions
Starting in 1994 with evening classes at the Peterborough County Board of Education in 1994, Mr. Oakley has taught theatre and drama to people aged 5 to 75. He has taught at many of the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board schools and most recently for Peterborough Collegiate’s Drama-Rama Day this past October 2006. He has also taught summer classes for the Market Hall Theatre for the last five years.
Ed Schroeter (Founder & Resident Playwright)
Recognized by the Peterborough Historical Society with the J. Hampden Burnham Heritage Award for his role as the creator and developer of Heritage Pavilion Stage and the Samuel Armour Award for his curriculum-linked history plays, Ed is a four-time, national award-winning Peterborough playwright and theatre producer He specializes in historical drama and current events scripts. He was the Artistic Producer and Resident Playwright of Arbor Theatre from January 2000 to December 2004. He is the recipient of numerous play writing grants and commissions through the Ontario Arts Council and the Laidlaw Foundation's Performing Arts Programme. He is a former Artistic Associate of 4th Line Theatre in Millbrook, Ontario and has been awarded two Ontario Arts Council residencies at 4th Line. His plays have been produced from coast to coast.
Greg Conchelos, (Co-Producer)
The founding partner and senior research associate of Applied Information Associates, Greg is an experienced business manager with considerable expertise in marketing, audience survey and questionnaire design as well as data analysis. He is also a specialist in the use of Third World street theatre as a catalyst for social change.
Mary Conchelos (Co-Producer)
Mary has thirty years of professional library experience. Her skills include research, teaching, administration, organizing information, proposal development and promotion. She is currently our website and booking manager and maintains our database.
